First off we'd like to thank everyone for their partcipation in the last round of tournaments, and to thank everyone for their continued support of MommasPoker! Momma has given the IT department updated rankings for 08/01/09 through 09/11/09. We still haven't nailed down the exact date and location for the next tournament of Champions, but we'll get it posted as soon as we know. Also please note that past rankings have been archived and are available via the "Past Player Rankings" main menu item on the left. Just under the Player Rankings item. You have to be signed in to see them as well. |

Tuesdays are a changin'! Tuesday September 8th will be the last day at the Dark Horse. Tuesday September 15th will be the first day at Cactus. So now we have Cactus games 3 days a week! Sunday, Monday, & Tuesdays! |

To all my poker players,
I want to thank you for all the support you’ve given me this year. Thank you for attending my 1st quarterly tournament, It was a great success and everybody really enjoyed themselves. Here is a list of the winners:
1st Jim Barber – a seat to Casino Arizona last Saturday of the month event. First prize is $20,000.00 ( I hope I get a tip when he wins, lol)
2nd prize Stephanie (Rolo) Flores – A chip set gift card to Starbucks
3rd prize Julie Mazet – A poker table
It’s great the top 2 winners of the quarter made it to the final three, Congratulations guys (and gals)
4th place Lynne Antonczak -$30.00 Gift Certificate and a Budweiser neon light,
5th Gregg Antonczak - $20.00 Gift Certificate
6th Bianca Apack - $10.00 Gift Certificate
7th Mike Conners
8th DrPeper
The final table each received a bottle of wine provided by the bar, Thank you A-Town for a great day!
Our next quarter will be more successful because of all my players!

Ok, some cool changes to the Tournament of Champions. First off it's been moved to Sunday 8/2, but it will still be at A-Town tavern. The game starts at 2pm, sign up starts at 1pm. The top 100 players (by ranking) are guaranteed a spot. Alternates can sign in at 1pm. Now get this... the winner wins a seat at the monthly Casino Arizona Tourney, which has a $20,000 prize pool! 2nd place will win a poker chip set. 3rd will get a poker table! We are working to get the latest standings posted, please bear with us. Momma is a bit cranky today so everyone is walking on eggshells. The Eccentric Art Department Guy already got chewed out twice, now he's all mopey. But emotion breeds good art, so we'll see what he comes up with. |
